Keyboard Shortcuts

Scott over at Theocacao has a great little write-up on the wonderful keyboard shortcuts that most people never use in OS X. Most of these were old news to me, as being a Mac-ninja means that you know just about everything and use the tools provided to get things done quicker. This means knowing keyboard shortcuts and using them in place of clicking.

However, there was one keyboard shortcut I had never seen before. Apparently, in any Cocoa app with a text view, using Option-Esc will offer autocomplete options. Seriously, fire up TextEdit, type half a word, hit Option-Esc, and there are some autocomplete options.

Bloody brilliant.
