Camino 1.5

Congratulations to the Camino team for the release of Camino 1.5. Among the many improvements to the Gecko powered / Cocoa flavored web-browser:

  • RSS Feed Detection
  • Spell Checking
  • Session Saving
  • Improved Tabbed Browsing
  • Improved popup/ad blocking
  • Updated Rendering Engine (Mozilla 1.8.1)

I have a soft spot in my heart for Camino. It was the browser that kept me on Mac OS X in the early days before the advent of Safari. Although development hasn’t progressed as fast as many would like, the Camino team put out a top notch, solid product that is used and loved by many.
