iPhone Thoughts: Bluetooth

So the iPhone has Bluetooth. I know pairing a earphone/headset is probably the order of the day for most people. But what about pairing a bluetooth keyboard, like the Apple Wireless Keyboard? I wonder if that would work. Tapping out emails on the iPhone looks all well and good when you are mobile, but when you are in the office for 8-10 hours a day, having a bluetooth keyboard paired to the device might make more sense.

One of the main disappointments with Apple not providing a real SDK is in the area of accessories. For example, a friend of mine has a Blackberry Pearl. For under $100, he bought a bluetooth GPS device, that, along with the software that is installed on the Blackberry, turns it in to a GPS device. Things like this could really help the iPhone become not just a successful product (as I’m sure it will be), but the pre-eminent platform for the next 20 years.
